As long as you are staying in Lagos, there is a guarantee that you will definitely experience heavy traffic, I mean you can stand still at one position for 2 hours, the most surprising thing after the road is free is that you will definitely see that there is nothing you point to be the cause of the holdup.

There are so many experiences I have gathered when it comes to traffic in Lagos but let me tell you about this one that I find so funny, I went to a birthday party at Alapere from ikorodu. I won't have gone actually but this person happens to be a family friend so I had no choice but to attend. I and the celebrant brother got to the party around 3 pm and stay for just 2 hours because we know it was always heavy traffic going back and we want to beat the time the traffic would start.

On getting to mile 12, it started raining heavily and there was no (BRT) on ground, so we decided to wait till the rain stopped. My friend advised me to let us go back and sleep at Alapere but I insisted that we should go home since we have left the place already, after the rain finally stopped around 5:45pm, we boarded the bus around 6 and it moved, the bus had to reason to stop because there was a separate lane for BRT which shouldn't take time before we get home.

We were about to get the one of the popular bus stop (ogonloto) when our bus stopped, I thought it was the traffic light that caused the holdup, but we were stuck there for two hours, I remembered I slept inside the bus and woke up which is when I realized this is serious, both the BRT lane and the normal bus lane has been blocked, buses going to mile 12 too has been blocked and I kept wondering why was there heavy traffic?

Everything I was told to give the people at home was eaten inside the traffic because I was hungry after I woke up, the traffic lasted for about 3 hours and finally after there was a green light to move, we found out that there was an accident or a spoilt car on the road, the traffic was caused by lots of impatient drivers.

I hope you enjoy reading this, have a blessed day

Traffic jam can be so frustrating and annoying especially if you're inpatient type. I hate when I'm being pinned down at a point, I hate traffic jam to the core.

Surely that most frustrating thing is traffic jam and traffic jam is like the sea of vehicles that you have to dive into.
