BTC dominance over 50 percent again

This is a number I have been watching over the past few years and I note today,

That BTC dominance according to CoinMarkets.Today is 50.91% compared to 16.6% Ethereum, 3.86% USDT, BNB 2.47%, Solana 2.2%, XRP 1.37%, etc. Doge 0.97%.

Compare that to January 5th 2024 at the start of the year ^ when BTC was still 43k

Then we have May 6th 2023 when clearly BTC dominance was much lower. 45.27% of all the crypto value was in BTC (but ETH was up to 18.44% of market cap!) In that post I had noted the BTC dominance had been rising, see here that it was up from just 39.43% a year earlier in April 18th 2022.

I asked "what will the bitcoin price be a year from now?" when Bitcoin was $28,768 USD on May 6th.

My next update on June 23rd 2023 I noted that Bitcoin was rising "And today it crossed $31,000 which I suspected could happen the other day." at this time I also noted something I read.

Again I asked, "What will the price of Bitcoin be a year from now? There are about 308 days until the next halving around April 27th 2024, but three months after that, will BTC be higher or lower?" Messari says BTC is up +196.62% vs USD in the past year.

Bitcoin is just shy of all time highs, trading around 66k thismorning.
