IAAC - Day 207 No Internet so Built a Small Warming Fire and Relaxed

Today is Thursday, January 27th and I am happy to be Alive.

Our internet service went out mid morning before I had really started on my online activity. We called in the outage and the message stated their was an upline outage that was occurring so until that was fixed no service would be available.

Not having internet makes you think about things in quite a different way. I wanted to look something up and get more information concerning a topic that I was reading about. But alas the internet was out. I wanted to listen to streaming music but again, no internet. It is funny how we now rely on the internet more than we thought we did.

After a little while of this, I decided to go outside and build a small warming fire to pass the time. It was actually very relaxing to not try to think about getting online for anything. I sat out by the fire for about three hours watching nature, the birds, clouds and everything else that is outside. It was very calming. Take care.

That is a great idea! I think, because of my extensive internet consumption I am less creative in my everyday life. It is good to do such things!

Have a great day and stay healthy and #alive!

When it was out, there were several things I started to do then realized I could not. It was amazing how dependent on the net I have become.

Nowadays many people most involved with internet connection and can't do other things without internet facility. In fact, internet outage giving us big opportunities to think different ways like as what you did this day. Exactly you spent really nice time connected with nature. I'm glad you are alive and well, truly not having internet is little disappointing, missing the internet makes us realize that it is essential in our life, but truly we must disconnect from time to time from technology in order to enjoy the beautiful things around us.
I am so glad you enjoyed your campfire and the contact with nature.

If it is curious how we depend on the internet, but also that when we disconnect we feel more relaxed and happy, at least in my case.

It was a nice small fire that provided enough heat to make it comfortable.

Several years ago I watched a YouTube video. The message was

Sometimes we have to disconnect to make a connection

img_0.5593359268196767.jpg
screenshot from this video

It was not about the Internet connection, it was our connection with mobile or desktop. But, all are pretty much the same.

Your Internet connection issue took you closure to nature.

It's good to know you are alive and thriving.

The internet as so much impactful our lives till the point where we sometimes seems clueless without it.

Due to our regular power Outrage down here, I've learn to use those free times away from the internet to appreciate everything around me, and I am working on living of it at least for few hours daily, so as to concentrate on other offline important aspect of my life.

Thanks for sharing, and stay !ALIVE
