Hi monster maniacs, this time the weekly challenge of @Splintelands is to battle with the Serpent of Eld, a card that I didn't have in my collection and I didn't know very well but now that I've recruited it it has surprised me very pleasantly, it's a pretty fast and slippery card, with a devastating damage, it's susceptible to magic attacks, its weak point, but it's very strong against other monsters like melee and archers. Lets see his abilities.

Dodge
This skill along with the speed of the card completely defines it, making it a card that is virtually untouchable by physical attacks.
Return Fire
I like this skill, however in this card it seems to be out of place and most of the time we will be avoiding archer attacks and not using this skill, however, when the dodge fails or we play "Aim True" it will help us a little.
Poison
Every good fearsome snake must be poisonous and the Snake of Eld is no exception, if you don't fall for its damage you will fall for its poison. this skill gets it at maximum level.

Let's see the snake of eld in action, maybe the next battle is not the best scenario for the snake, but it still did its part.

The line up

Xia Seachan
My blue summoner, not having a bonus allows to build balanced teams distributing well the mana.
Serpent of Eld
We count on their speed to dodge the most hits and archery shots and do good damage for the first few turns
Gelatinous Cube
I'm a simple man, I see the earthquake rule and I make room for the cube.
Water Elemental
This card has the function of doing damage from a safe position while resisting earthquakes thanks to its heal.
Furious Chicken
Free food for the cube
Creeping Ooze
To slow down the enemy during the first turn and then feed the cube.

The strategy work?

The two enemy archers, with a speed of just one point, managed to hurt the Snake of Eld on the first turn, which is incredible! The good thing is that the snake reflected the damage by weakening them so that they could fall more easily due to earthquakes, the snake also managed to do a good amount of damage to the enemy Lord Arianthus.

When the battle advanced there was no way to eliminate the immortal duo of the cube and the elemental, so I think this strategy worked very well.

What do you think about it? Leave me your comment. See you in the game.
