Why Is The SBD Doing Better Than The HBD???

I have noticed that the Hive Dollar (HBD) has not risen up in value compared to the Steem Dollar. The Steem Dollar (SBD) has stayed up several cents more than 1 USD for many days now. The Hive Dollar has always been staying a few cents below 1 USD.

Aren't the Hive Witnesses going to do something about it? Remember, that part of a Witness' responsibility also is to keep the HBD at $1. Are the Hive witnesses neglecting it as they are too fixed on the Hive currency and other projects?

I am just stating my opinion because I love the Hive Dollar (HBD) for being a stable coin of the Hive platform.

Working as intended.

It isn't witnesses "responsibility" to direct act on the HBD price.

The HBD stability price is based on supply and demand adjustments, and the only thing witness can do is to change the conversion price on the blockchain, or add an interest rate on HBD holdings, biasing the incentive to hold or sell SBD on the market.

Same with SBD.
