On Top of the World

On top of the world here at Sunshine Meadows, Banff Park, Alberta and British Columbia. The reason I say “on top of the world” is because of the long gondola ride to the top. When you get off the lift, it feels like you are at a very high elevation. In fact the elevation is 2,300m or 7,500ft! Here are a few more photos of the wonderful Rock Isle Lake. There was a great little picnic spot just in front of the lake, where we enjoyed some sandwiches while watching mountain squirrels frolick around.

Except for the last shot, which I love the one in color... the rest of them I could flip, either way, I cannot believe I am saying that, but it's true. The color is stunning, but, the b&w is stellar.

Astonishing.. the range again is insane.. look at that. I love the colors of the water, I know it's been edited a little but then, it's still as beautiful. 7500 ft is something else, must feels so close to the heavens.
