A Different World called Wilmer Wetlands
Continuing on with my exploration of Wilmer Wetlands, located by Invermere, British Columbia. What an incredible place this was! It absolutely felt like another world, unlike any other place I have visited. The hike basically takes you along the edge of these cliffs. Not for the faint of heart, as one false move and down you go! Was being as careful as could be. I managed to take a lot of photos during this one, so here they are. What a relaxing place to wander around. Im guessing it's called Wetland since it's so abundant of water in the lakes. I bet you enjoyed and rested well enough after reaching there.
Yes, I ended up hiking it out in a circle like pattern, but got somewhat lost at one point lol.

I wonder why they're not putting any protective measures, especially if the area is open for people to check out always.
I think at the other edge of the wetland it's actually possible for people to play golf there, looks like it's possible.

Where we entered was the only access point to the wetlands as far as I know. I'm sure there is some kind of protective measures in place to preserve the area.

Not moss, but some kind of lily pads and other vegetation.
