A Slice of Heaven

Here is a slice of Heaven for you! Compliments of the one and only Canadian Rockies. Photographed last summer inside Jasper National Park, Alberta. Up here in Canada, our Rockies are taller than our southern neighbour’s Rockies. Taller is better. Seeing as I am Canadian, you might say I am partial to our Rockies. Which Rockies are your favourites?

Please how do you feel capturing these shots? I find it mesmerizing from my device's screen and I believe seeing it right in front of you comes with a whole new feeling.

I love both the colored and black & white, the shot looks great on both sides.

Analyzing a bit the pictures attached here and the title of the post I found the perfect match, a walk in such places is amazing, we have everything to gain, probably in these areas we can breathe the cleanest air, the view and of course that silence that you can not explain.

The clouds on the mountain remind me of an experience I had when my friends and I went to a high mountain in Ghana to pray. At midnight when we were praying, the clouds came down and covered us, indeed it was like a slice of Heaven. I can never forget that experience. Thanks for sharing these shots @daveks

Kinda like Moses meeting God in the mountains. Sounds like a great experience.

Amazing scenic shots and the transitions as well.

I haven't traveled out of the U.S., but Canada is on my wish list for sure.
