A Splash of Turquoise
Light rain on the hiking trail is not really that desirable to be honest. But, add some fallen trees and a turquoise coloured lake and it certainly does make for great photographic images! These are some of the photos I took walking around the perimeter trail at Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta. Luckily the rain lasted for only about twenty minutes or so. Rejoice! We were able to complete the entire hike that day. More photos to come tomorrow. By the way, what have you been up to this Summer?

What a great photo. You did it perfectly. I love it in black and white visuals. Raindrops are more clearly visible and detailed. I can feel a sense of peace and serenity when I look at that black and white visual photo.

These are smokin hot shot's, I agree rain not so fun, heavy or light but yeah they do make some perfect captures, especially there with that color water. Awesome shot's
The photos are amazing! The rain, fallen trees, and turquoise lake create a unique scene. You did a great job capturing these shots in the rain. The mix of black and white with color adds depth. The water looks so inviting.. though I vaguely recall that it was glacier water? ..or am I dreaming lmao? Does anyone swim? ..are you allowed to? ..or is it way to cold?
Glacial water it is. Too cold to swim probably, also they do not allow it anyways.
Fantastic colours indeed! B-W version is intresting too, especially the more close-up one, where you can see rain circles on the water.
NB - I did not travel anywhere this summer, pretty sadly but I stay at metropolis all the time; did not visit forest even once...
