An Afternoon at Vista Lake

It was an incredibly warm and beautiful day for a solo hike to Vista Lake. Located just south of Castle mountain junction inside Kootenay National Park. The trailhead is easily accessible from highway 93 south. Now as much as I love hiking alone, I realize that it is best to hike in groups of 2-4, but that is not always possible. So, bear spray in front pocket ready to disperse at a moments notice is mandatory. All in all, it took about two hours or so in and out, including snack-time.

Or if you cannot find bear spray, you could try a Cr250
