Around Akamina/Cameron with an iPhone 16 Pro
(Edited)

Here is one of the rare occasions when I decided to use the smartphone instead of the Sony A7R. As mentioned yesterday, I have made a decision to pretty much stop using the iPhone for posting on Hive. Just way to many pics to edit and too many similar photos. But one great thing about the iPhone is the super wide angle. Now I could do something similar with the Sony, but that would require spending a lot of $ on new lenses. Someday will add new lenses, but not today. Photos taken around Cameron and Akamina lake, Waterton Lakes park, Alberta. Thanks for stopping by.

Camera: iPhone 16 Pro
Editing: Lightroom

Did it turn to rain or just stayed cloudy?
I don't have an iPhone but everyone says it makes good photos... Still for the best photos a serious camera is the best
It did start to sprinkle just as I was finishing up. Good timing!

Our Canadian Rockies are the best.
Good heavens, my friend, what a way to "find the photo"!
Always on the lookout for photo ops. Appreciate the complements.

That third picture is my pick of the day. Both in color and mono, I just love the detail in the old burned trees as the new forest regrows from underneath. That is gorgeous!
Glad you are making use of the old smartphone. It saves money on buying new lenses and that is always smart! Lenses don't come cheap, I know that all too well!
I took a few days off, but I'm back in action here on Hive once again. I needed some time for rest and relaxation! How are those vacation plans looking?
I figured I ought to show off the iPhone every now and again. Looks like I'm heading out to BC (British Columbia) in a couple of weeks, and looking forward to that! You were taking it easy this summer? Or have plans changed?
