Around Rowe Lake

DSC09968.jpeg

Ok, after a light lunch by the lakeshore, thought I’d grab a few pics of the surrounding area. The lake itself (lower Rowe lake) is nestled snugly amidst the subalpine cirques of mount Rowe. Unfortunately there was no lakeshore perimetre trail to check out. So not much for photo ops around here, except the lake itself mainly. According to others, the premier lake to go to is the upper Rowe lake (dang, I should have went…will have to be next time around). Stay tuned for a future hike to upper Rowe lake someday. Thanks for stopping by.

That's absolutely a lovely lake here, great views, it seems coming out from a painting!

The mountain, the lake, and the trees by its edge create a wonderful harmony. I really liked the first photo. I think you're on a nature walk. I would love to explore these areas.

Next time to the upper lake, but still you have some beautiful shots in there. If the lower one looks this nice and the upper is even nicer you have a treat in store!

Glad those pesky bears were nowhere to be found on the way back. They probably wanted to avoid you as much as you did them!

Yes! Looking forward to my next kick at it. Luckily the bears wandered off somewhere else!
