Around the Canadian Rockies in Colour & Black and White

DSC05874.jpeg

This is the kind of scenery viewable in the Canadian Rockies. These particular photos were taken from the Marble Canyon hiking trail on a very warm Summer afternoon. Some of the trees around here have been damaged due to wildfire activity sometime in the last few years. At times, Parks Canada will conduct a prescribed burn in certain areas to assist the ecosystem. This fire however was not one of them. Hopefully this coming hiking season will be free of forest fire activity, although things are not off to a great start in Alberta so far.

The view is incomparable. I'd rather take the colored picture this time around... It's so beautiful.

Loved these photographs. By the way Canada is my dream country and one day I will be there when I will have that much money for ticket and visa.
