I Just love this river, especially the turquoise colour of the water! Photo captured from the Hoodoos trail, walking distance from the town of Banff, Alberta. The 42mp of the Sony A7R III really comes in handy when it comes to creating photographic art.

Never seen water so blue. Seriously need to get my butt up north asap. Is there something in the water that makes it this color that you know of? Or is it just fresh water lol Thank you for sharing these.

It gets it’s colour from the glacial water. There is a sort of rock powder mixed in, which makes this beautiful colour.

That colour is awesome!! We get similar shades in the ocean here. When I was a little girl, I used to ask my mom if we could put some in a bottle so I could save the colour and take it home lol.
