Chillin at Lillian Lake

Orginally I planned on hiking to Chester Lake, but after a brief visit at the Kananaskis visitor centre, and based on a suggestion, I decided to hike to Lillian Lake instead. After arriving at the parking lot, it was so full I had to park on the highway shoulder. Lots of cars means it must be a good hike - and it was! Tougher than my usual hikes, this one had me do 650 metres of elevation gain (or about 2,000 feet).
Needless to say, I'm wiped. Thanks for stopping by.

Have you ever fished here?
No, but others were, maybe next time.
That green is quite cool, seems like an emerald
A gem of a lake it was.
Peaceful 😍
Indeed it was.
the ripples of the water are very calming
That is the spot where I relaxed and had snacks. It was perfect, except for some bugs.

Thanks for the share.
Welcome
This is really beautiful, the water at the edge looks so transparent and you could actually see the bottom of the water. I reckon that this must be a protect area, and that people cannot fish in places like this. 2000 feet is a whole lot.
Fishing is allowed, even though it is inside a provincial park.
It was a tough hike for me, I don't think I'd want to go any higher than 2,000 feet.
🔟🔟🔟😀🫵
