If you have followed me for any length of time, then you know that I love both genres of photography. So, I figured maybe I'll experiment a bit and create a new community dedicated to those photographers who share the same passion as me. Here goes!

All these photos were taken in and around the Canmore, Alberta area on our last expedition in March. This is the east end of mount Rundle. Also known as “EEOR”.

Here is the mighty Bow river, as it flows underneath the bridge we are standing on. Great view of the Three Sister Peaks from here as well!

I will be personally curating qualifying posts. Who would like to join me in the new Colour / Black & White photography community?

These are awesome, and a fun look at both B&W and colour.
I wonder what Bow River image looks like w/ a sepia tone? Call it The Boys of Klondike Gold Rush!

That sounds like a fun idea. I hope my old brain will remember to post some there. I always find the difference very interesting between color and mono.

That is such a stunning set of shots - seemingly cruising down the river and head-on shot of the mountain.

Love the perspective.

I like the idea of it. Have some fun celebrating our photography displaying the contrasts in the images. Can we include a splash or pop effect as well so COlour, B&W and a splash one? 😃

This is interesting in my opinion. Because we can see both pictures. color and black and white. Oh, how many photos are in one post?
Thank You

Great idea. Not sure how many I'll post, but I do enjoy looking at them! Joining the group just to have in my feed (and maybe post a few now and again). Not sure all the special characters in the title are supported in tag, what's the correct way to tag it, is it "colourblackandwhite", or are the slash space and ampersand supported?

It's mountains and beautiful scenery. I saw the majesty of God there. Your works are amazing sir @daveks. I will post in this community. Greetings from Aceh (Indonesia).

Hopefully I can share in the community, and see that it is very interesting, where there are two dominant color versions for us to share at this time.
