Dolomite Peak
This is Dolomite peak, as seen from the hiking trail to Helen Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta. Wow an amazing view to be had from the trail! The peak stands tall at 2,998 metres or 9,836 feet. A monstrosity of a mountain to be sure. Sort of looks like a prehistoric animal, doesn’t it? This is my first time doing this hike, but not the last time. The weather was not entirely cooperative, but you can’t control nature. I will be planning another trip up here again sometime in the near future, and hopefully on a warm blue skied kind of day. Did you make it to the mountains this Summer yet?

I havent hiked any mountains yet, but I am driving in them daily now. We got the Blue Ridge to the left and Smith Mountain to the right, so it is nice to see daily.
Always nice to see mountains around the area, as you drive by.

Solid moderate in my opinion. Of course moderate is a relative term. Probably on the easier side of moderate.

Ha ha ha 😂... Dear friend, that would surely be something lovely for me!... But unfortunately for more than a decade I have not renewed my passport (and that here in my country is something really uphill due to the limitations and corruption of the government)... But, I have cousins in Minnesota for decades and they keep urging me to "stop being an inveterate hermit" (so they say) and visit them one day...
I'll be letting you know when that happens!... Maybe I'll cross the border from Minnesota to Canada illegally!... Lately we the Venezuelans are famous for doing this kind of thing!... Just kidding!!!! 😂 if I ever get to go there I hope it's in legal way!...
