Eclectic
(Edited)
I was thinking to myself, should this post be titled “Eclectic” or maybe even “Potpourri”, how about “Random photos” or even “Extras”. So I went with Eclectic. The definition of eclectic is: Selecting or employing individual elements from a variety of sources, systems, or styles. So each of these photos was taken on different days, some at night, some during sundown, and one at the lakeside. I think “Eclectic” was the right choice, how about you?

I think that is right on, those are nice photos mon.
Thanks Mon.
And if I had a private plane & a big towel I could parachute through them clouds.
The sunset loses a lot when the color is gone, but I like the almost ethereal effect of the monochromatic seaweed. Is that the invasive Eurasian milfoil, though? If so, nasty stuff.
No, just harmless seaweed, as far as I know. Thanks for looking,
I'm going to second this. I wonder if it has to do in part that we have grown up with certain things in full color like suburbia & sunsets. While seaweed isn't as common and so as a b&w it's easier for our minds to accept. Maybe I just need my morning coffee...
I often prefer clouds in mono like these coz it offers a little extra drama and foreboding.
amazing forms. looking great in both :-)
The first and last photos look better in color, on the other hand the second and third are better in b/w. In any case, these are very good photos.
@daveks Friend... You have unleashed the artist in you in a more eloquent and abstract way than usual!... ;) Beautiful photos!...
