Emergency SOS via Satellite Feature

So we had and enjoyable time during our brief stop near the Columbia Icefields. The weather was decent, except for a bit of wind. We could have used a bit more blue in the skies which is always a welcome gift. If you wait for the “perfect” day in the Canadian Rockies, you may never end up doing anything. Best thing is to just go for it, and hope for the best. Now that doesn’t always apply, especially if you are doing a half to full day hike or something like that. Last thing you want if for a search party to be out looking for you! That being said, if you have the new iPhone 14 in pocket and out are out of cell signal, then you can actually turn on the emergency SOS via satellite feature and text a distress message to the nearest orbiting satellite. Super cool feature actually! I may need to trade in the Huawei for the new iPhone, what say you? Photos taken near the Columbia Icefields, Banff Park, Alberta.

Huawei and iPhone are very good phone brands, I think up to this point the phones slowly start to become quite similar in terms of technical capabilities. If iPhone has that new feature, change your Huawei :)
