Fall Riverside Beauty

I think that Fall may be my favourite time of year, at least for photography that is. All those rich autumn colours bursting out everywhere, absolutely gorgeous! Now, it is also a good time of year to hike in the mountains, but of course something like that does require a little bit of travel time. For this day though, it was a local walk. Enjoying the immediate surroundings. Another benefit of the autumn walks are the cooler temperatures. What I mean by that is, temperatures that are in the high teens or low twenties are ideal for these walks, not having to worry about getting too dehydrated by the hot sun beating down on your body. Low twenties in Fall are better than high twenties in mid Summer, and more colourful to boot.

I love the photos! Autumn really gives nature a magical touch, too bad where I live there are no seasons and I can't enjoy that beauty you capture in those images. 😍🍁

We know it as autumn down here in South Africa.. but yeah, I love it as well. The problem is that I'm not the biggest fan of the cold winter that follows. We get winter rain, which of course is a blessing.. but yeah, every year I wonder how I'm going to pull through lmao.

Anyway, I'm waffling now. Awesome post mate. Love that first pic especially. Looks like it could have been a perfect image for one of those puzzles.. the kind one builds with the little carboard pieces. They're all dope, though.

True, but just have to dress for the weather. Some winter days can be very warm and comfortable. Throw in some wind though and that’s when the fun ends.

The sunset is naturally dazzling. It enhanced the lighting and quality of the portrait shots. The view is beautiful too.

Right on, walks and hikes are always enjoyable, especially with the camera in had. You never know what you might capture day to day. Awesome shot's and yeah Fall is so beautiful...

What a beautiful day for a walk! Fall is the best, it's not too hot, not too cold, just perfect for a nice pleasant day in the outdoors. Plus you get all the beautiful colored leaves, it's great!

That road in the bottom two black and whites almost makes you think it's the 1930's!

Wow... If we had autumn here, I think that would also be my favorite "season for photos" :)... Everything is so bright and chromatic at that time... That first photo is a "perfect landscape", it has everything: color, light, horizontality, fugue points and a supreme composition...
