Half Pipe

First thing that came to mind when looking at this photo, is that it looks like a skateboard park, a mountainous skate board park, something like a half pipe! Call me crazy, but that is what came to mind. With this post, it literally takes us to the end or the hike summit. There is actually a sign that tells you that the trail has ended. Usually there is no signage indicating the end of a trail, kind of rare actually, but this one had one. I wish all hikes had more signage actually. It would certainly be helpful, at times these mountain trails can be somewhat confusing, especially the less travelled types of trails. Last year, due to poor or non-existent signage, we got somewhat lost on a hike, and ended up missing the best parts of it. Today’s photos were were captured at Ptarmigan Cirque trail, Kananaskis country, Alberta.

Certainly a walk along any path requires warnings and signs, thanks to you, as you know them, you have a way to show them, in any case the sites that you always expose in your publications are impressive, like the ones in this publication, I would get lost. Success brother @daveks and I look forward to your visit to my publication, drinking coffee and paying directly with my HBD.

The place looks weird and beautiful and seems to be the end here.

You finally reached the end of the line. Now we know what that looks like. The edge of the World. And It’s definitely not flat. More curvey and swirly if you ask me. 🌊 like a giant wave.

So nice and yeah does look like a half pipe too. One time in the cold snow, I was with my niece and nephew, yeah it got dark, confusing and almost lost but I found a way to get them back safely. Awesome shot's and a beautiful ending.

It looks like the end of the world or the boundary line. This whole Mountain reminds me of a snow covered Peak.
Thank you so much @daveks for always visiting, I'm appreciative🙏

Awwww.... That is almost a "lunar" landscape, or better "almost from another planet", it is beautiful to look at both in black and white and in color... It is a place full of magical relief lines...

A skate park!... Holy cow my friend, what a strange occurrence! ha ha ha :))

Very lunar like it was, it didn’t feel that way while out there, but looking at the photos now gives it a different feeling.

It does look like a half pike! I can just see someone on their snowboard going back and forth!

End of trail sign, I've never seen one of those. It means some guy had to lug it up there, dig the hole, put it it and hike back. That was a lot of effort!

Beautiful place! It looks like an old glacier just carved it out. Thanks for the great pictures!

Lol,

Probably not a bad job to have actually, hiking putting up signs, more hiking, more signs, next park, next hike, more signs, repeat…
