Halfway

It was the end of the trail. Also known as the “halfway point” or the first leg of the hike. Half the fun is over, or is it? In this case, on the way up, the skies were fairly overcast. Things could only get better right? They did. On the return, eventually the sun did come out a bit, which was fantastic. If only it would have come out sooner. Can’t win em all. Always have to make the most of the weather you are dealt. Without the blue skies to assist, the experience on the way up felt kinda surreal, like hiking on mars or another planet, or something like that anyways. Maybe someday we will be able to hike on another planet, probably not in my lifetime though..

Beautiful! Those B&W's take the day, they bring out so many nice details. Especially that waterfall in the last one.

You can't control the weather, but it turned out nicely. It's nice that they label the end of the trail for you as well!

It doesn’t happen that often, that there is a sign letting you know you are at the end. They should really do that more often.
