Horns of the Rockies

avatar
(Edited)

Look what I found, Horns. Horns of the Rockies you might say. But seriously, just a remnant of what used to be here, some years or decades back. I wonder what the lakeshore looked like back then? Pretty similar I imagine, but with a few more tall trees than now. This is Elbow Lake. I made it, after approximately an hour on the trail to get here. A short hike to get here really. I love these shorter ones, it means that I might have time to squeeze in another hike at another location close by! Music to my ears. Photos taken inside Kananaskis country, Alberta, last Summer.

The elbow Lake is surrounded by white mountains? I can just imagine it back in those days, I guess it was pretty much the same with all the tall trees, in serenity.

It's exciting to imagine what a place looked like decades ago or better yet centuries ago. This Elbow Lake is amazing, I'm glad your bed has been useful my friend. Best regards!

Nice, that's not something you see everyday. Pretty cool how many cool things nature provides us, that must be why we set out on the trails. Awesome shot's my friend.

So true and we love every minute of it.... Have a great Sunday my friend. I'm off to the Ranch again to shot Highland Cow's and Alpacas etc. Should be a fun time now that I'm getting better in manual mode.
