It’s about the Journey

You know that saying: “it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey”. Well this hike to Bertha Lake reminds me of this saying; and with views like this, who even needs to go to Bertha lake?! Even after the first twenty minutes on the trail, so many great photo ops already. What a journey it was so far! And it’s only going to get better. Don’t forget to enjoy your journey. So look around, appreciate life, friends, and your environment — Life is awesome! Thanks for stopping by.

STOPSometimes the journey itself becomes the greatest reward, and these beautiful sights are proof of that!
Exactly, we must always keep in mind the journey…
The mountain range is just so beautiful mehn...
One of my favourite views in the entire Canadian Rockies!
The photos were all beautiful, both in color and black and white, each with its own beauty.
I agree with you that this is not about the destination, it is about the journey, what you learn on the way will change your personality from the one you were at the origin and the one you reach the destination.
We can learn so much on the journey, as we make our way to the destination!
When I read your text, I was inspired by you and left a post with photos of the routes and roads I had taken.
I'd be happy to see my post.
Yes, I took a look at it. Good post, but you probably used ai to create the text?
Thank you,
I use AI to translate the texts I write, or the texts that I don't understand the meaning of the sentences in the text here, is that forbidden here?
I am not fluent in English to write a text in English on my own.
Using ai to create text is frowned upon around here, that being said, the use of Grammarly is ok. What is your native language?
Thank you for the heads up.
My native language is Persian (Farsi).
I use translation tools to help me express my thoughts in English, as my English isn't perfect yet, but all the ideas, paintings, and experiences I share are 100% my own.
Some people publish both their native language and English together in the same post, not a bad idea actually.
It's ok to publish English that is not perfect, it shows you are human.
Does this area have many earthquakes?
None that I am aware of. Further west to the coast, yes.
These stones in the photo show a fault in this area
After some quick research a fault does go through here in fact, but no recorded activity in recent centuries. Good catch.
Twenty minutes in and already that many photo stops, that trail sounds like the whole trip. Did the lake beat those early views, or was the walk the real prize?
Sounds like an ai generated comment.
Ha, I'll take that as a sign I liked the trail too much. Twenty minutes in and already that many photo stops is what stuck with me. Did the lake at the end beat those early views or not?
What a pretty lake! I love that second shot, something about the water color and the mountain. Not sure what, but nicely done. I bet it must have looked gorgeous before the fire, but it will again someday with majestic pine returning. It looks great now, just imagine once the trees regrow!
How have you been doing? I've been out of town and not online too much!

Really looking forward to the day when the forest has grown back.
I have been laying low lately, no big hikes or anything. We’ll see what the coming months have in store.
Destination is indeed important but enjoying the journey is the most important thing because the process matter most.
In case of colourful photographs I indeed like it but I cannot say that black and white photographs are less beautiful that colorful ones.
Once in awhile the black and whites really stand out, but mostly the colours win. I just like to post both. Thanks for stopping by.
🔟🔟🔟
Thanks.
Yeah, you should really enjoy the journey because that's what makes it even more fun! You get to see more places, meet more people, and collect more stories and memories along the way.
By theway, it's such a wonderful place to explore!
If you are not enjoying the journey you are really missing out the finer things in life.
Great shot with wonderful details!
Hey thanks!
You're very welcome
