Today's hike took me to Lake O'Hara. This is considered the "Jewel" of Yoho National Park, British Columbia. For this hiking experience, you need to take a shuttle to the lake (or hike up 11 kilometres and then start) and in order to get on the shuttle you must win the shuttle lottery -- which I did! The water is so clear, clean and transparent at the edge. I'd think this would be a very good drinking spot for some animals living in the area, but I cannot see any animals around. Great video, you can almost hear the sound of the water and all that tranquility.
Other then a few birds and squirrels here and there, I didn't see any animals. I was almost hoping to see a bear, with a good distance from me of course!
Yeah, I'd have loved to see a bear if it was me too. Wow.
