Larch
(Edited)
This is the reason for Fall hiking. The yellow Larch trees! Doesn’t get any prettier than this. Imagine a whole forest full of these! Note to self: always book time off in the Fall, in order to experience yellow Larch trees. So I have, and I will, every Fall I will hike amongst the Larch trees. Now don’t go out too late in the Fall, as you may miss the yellow beauty. Probably late September is best (this is when I took these photos), I wouldn’t wait for October, as you may have to deal with snowy weather by that time.

Years ago I went horseback riding with a friend up into the mountains when the aspen were yellow, but I don't think I have seen larch trees.
Apparently you only find the Larch trees in the more northern parts of North America. I’m no expert though. Thanks for dropping by.
We have Tamarack trees here in Wisconsin, and after checking, it seems they are the same tree as Larch.
Oh, interesting!
Beautiful 😍... I'm a bit curious are the trees naturally yellow or it's affected by the weather at the time?
As the season changes from Summer to fall, getting cooler, the needles change colour to a yellow. Thanks.
Interesting 🙂
Thats a real beauty. Beneath Mountains yellow larch trees. So beautiful. Coverage.
Indeed, love them larch trees with the yellows. Thanks.
Beautiful photography
Thanks.
@daveks bro, It's really interesting and beautiful bro 👍
Hey thanks @fanigunawan.
Noted, if I ever do. These shot's are amazing, well done my friend.
Thanks @shoemanchu.
Some very beautiful autumn Larch there.
Thanks!
Such pretty yellow trees in fall! They don't grow down here in the California mountains. Those color shots are gorgeous, the B&W's just don't do them justice... Fall would be a great time for vacations just for the trees!
That’s for sure, Fall tree vacation. I like it!
