Mountain Boating

What’s the next best thing to hiking or canoeing? Boating. In fact here at Lake Minnewanka the boat tours are a thriving industry. After all, the lake itself is 21 kilometres long, ideal for tours and boating! Personally I'd rather experience the lake in my own boat as opposed to a tour boat.

I wonder how did you feel being near such a heavenly view. It is so beautiful.

That's a nice lake, man. How much does it cost to rent one of those boats?

I don't think any of these are for rent. The boat tours though are about $100 per person.

Not bad.. I think it's worth the price to enjoy the beautiful view.

Wow those mountains are sheer straight up...talk about steep. Too steep for vegetation it seems!

I have to agree with you. The tours are nice if you have to, but, I would rather even take my kayak and skim the coastline with it. The views are amazing, to be honest. I don't own a boat but, will rent one on occasion.

Am I looking at Cascade in the first shot? I am guessing yes with that commanding look.

That is mount Inglismaldie. Cascade would be to the south of this photo, and in view actually.
