Mountain Extras
Here are a few leftover photos from last Summer's trip out to Banff Park, Yoho Park, and Jasper Park. The park that we skipped was Kootenay, but by no means is it not worth going to. I did spent some quality time there the year before however. Think Radium Hot Springs, Marble canyon, and Stanley Peak.

I do love the texture of rock. Makes me pause and live in the moment trying to imagine eons of transformation and thousands of seasons passed.
The first picture gives me the impression of undeniable weight. Look at all of that forest and mountain pushing down to those trees at the edge of the surface of the lake. Fantastic.
It seems that it could almost collapse into the lake, with that train of thought. Maybe thats not too far from reality.

Stunning. I am out of words with this park and your killer shots. The rocks rule. Leftovers are usually signal less than the best. Not a chance. Let's give them a new name!
