Nature Walk

IMG_20231016_141213_Original.jpeg

Yesterday I posed a question, the question was “Nature walk or Hike?” So, after some thought and deliberations, I’m going to say that my two hour walk by the river yesterday was indeed a nature walk and not a hike. Did I need trekking poles? No. Was there more than fifty metres of elevation gain or loss? No. Did I bring bear spray? No (but I did bring pepper spray). Did I use a back pack? No. Nature walk or hike, it was sure a lot of fun! I did encounter a lot of Canada Geese, about this time of year is when you see these birds heading south for the winter. I’m surprised to see so many of them still hanging around, I suppose it is the warmer temperatures keeping them grounded, at least for now anyways.

Excellent photos! @daveks🍁

The colorful autumn scenery is gorgeous. I call what you did here a "photographically journaled walk!"

Looks so peaceful. Do the canadian geese get as 'excited' as the egyptian geese down here? They are sooo adorable, but wow - they are wonderful morning alarm clocks lmao.

You don't want to get too close to these geese, is what I have heard. This is when a good zoom lens comes in handy.

The path is clean and adorable, it's much better with colored picture. For me it's nature walk any day. What's the purpose of the spray?

Just in case you run into any wild animals or wild humans.

Estumado @daveks Nature walk, it will always be a good idea, logically being careful with bears, we don't have such ferocious animals here. You always have to be careful. I wish you success and thank you for your visits to my publications.

Great photo graphs, only thing better would be an RM250, no that would just be too much ,too loud, too many policy men called in. Glad you enjoyed my river.

You sure can tell winter is coming... Looks like a great place for a pleasant walk, not much like bear country but I've been surprised by bears before! Always smart to carry pepper spray but I usually bring bear spray if they are in the area.

That first black and white picture came out really nice, that's my pick of the day!
