Its that time again. Time for some cat photos. The Japanese word for cat is Neko in case you didn’t know. I really think black & white photography goes well with pet photography, so I am leading off with the B&W’s today. We have been considering getting a dog lately. Any thoughts or opinion on what would be a good fit, seeing as we already have a cat. I know some cats don’t get along well with other furry pets. German shepherd or maybe a poodle, a collie maybe? What say you.

I really like cats or animals in general especially those with furs, hehe. They are so comfy.
Although I don't have a cat, I have a dog but I don't think they get along so well, unless, they grew up together. Or they will eventually get used to each other, don't really know too

STOPCool shot's, I can't do cats they set my allergies way off but I like them. I have a miniature Dachshund. I took shot's but haven't posted any yet lol.

What a cute Neko-chan!! I think most dogs can learn to live with cats, although I have heard that rescue Greyhounds (from the track) have a reputation of killing cats. Can't confirm, just heard it a lot when I was in the dog biz.
Ok, so I will rule out the greyhound for sure. Probably a something on the tinier side is the way to go.
Are you thinking puppy or adoption? Sometimes they already know the history and temperament of shelter dogs. Or if you want to do the whole puppy thing, you can teach them about cats from a young age. Of course, cats aren't always a big fan of puppies... 😅
Haven’t decided yet. Probably a young puppy would be the way to go, so they can get used to each other without any preconceived notions.
