For lack of a better title, I’m calling this one “New Years Eve in the mountains.” In actual fact it should be called a “Mid-Summers day in the mountains.” Photo taken on the hiking trail to Aylmer Pass, Banff Park, Alberta. The lake is called Minnewanka. A very popular tourist destination in the area.

Is it the perspective or is that an almost flat mountaintop? It is probably slanted up at best, but, reminds me a little of Tabletop Mountain with the flat top.

Hi, Dave! Happy New Year to you and the family! Health, Happiness, Prosperity and some great hiking for 2022!

It sort of looks like a roast beef or something doesn't it?

Happy New Year to you @dswigle, and hoping for a fantastic 2022, something better than 2021 at least!

Amen! That won't take much, will it? We are really setting the bar low.
