Postcards from Sunshine Meadows
Today I present to you postcards from Sunshine Meadows, Banff Park, British Columbia / Alberta. In particular, these photos were taken from the hiking trail to Mount Assiniboine, but still inside the meadows area. One thing that stands out in these photos is the lack of other hikers around. This is really quite a sweet thing actually. The crowds really can take away from ones full experience in the outdoors. Just you and nature. What a combination!!

Yea, awesome, reminds me of how I jumped.
It looks unusual to see the sparseness of the pines in these pictures. I know it is normal, but, it has an element of emptiness in these spots. The color for me and #3 at that.

For the amount of snow on the mountains, I consider that the photos were taken in late June or July, Am I right?

Mid July. Not sure what the height was. It felt like a mountain on top of a mountain.
