Should I stay or should I go now..Ok, about 20 minutes ago I could see the flowing frigid lake water, but now I want to cross this snowy thin ice to the other side. Hmm, flip a coin. Heads I continue, tales I return back to the shoreline. It’s heads, let’s go! But wait, I’m having second thoughts. What to do? Take a deep breath. Shucks, I can't decide. We have gridlock.

I had to zoom in the shots, to see if those were snow or just the sand, it's black and white, so it's quite challenging to see. I must admit, it still maintain quality despite the zoom. The mountain-side is stunning.

At a glance, snow does look like sand, especially in black & white photography. It was an awesome view.

I always errr on the side of caution with those lakes/rivers. In the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, I used to wait and watch people be the first to cross the lakes.

I am a chicken liver. :)

That is a great shot with the tracks and the mountains- especially with the lone person crossing.

Did you stay or did you go?

That was really a tough decision to make. It was a nice view though.
