Slice of Lakeside

Ever had a slice of “Lakeside” before? It looks and smells really good. Makes you want to jump right in and soak it all in, enjoy the views, splash around. But I’ll stay on the dry side this time around, the water will be too cold. Nice to imagine anyways. Maybe when the hike is over I’ll go for a slice of pie, cherry or pumpkin. Photos taken along Elbow Lake, Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada. That’s all for today, by for now, it’s been a slice.

The water looks very attractive and cool that one should be tempted to dive in and have a swim.
Beautiful shots.

That reflection of green again! I was looking at the lake and itching for a swim, that's just the emotion right now.

I love cherry pie, in such a beautiful place it doesn't matter that it is very cold, being there it is taken away from me. Very nice pictures. Friend @daveks I keep thanking you for your visits to my posts. Best wishes from Venezuela.

That water does look inviting, but mountain lakes are almost always ice cold! You got some great shots there. And pie is always a good idea!
