Small Perils

As we walk through the forest, here in Cranbrook, British Columbia, careful not to step on one of these giant fallen acorns! As cool as they may be, you don’t want to twist your ankle. Anyways, it is only one of the small “perils” to avoid while out and about on the trails. The real perils to be concerned about would be a wild animal encounter or even an aggressive dog off leash. Always carry bear spray in pocket for your safety and peace of mind! Even trekking poles can serve as a protective tool. Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful shots, and all that flowers too. It's quite sunny and honestly, there's no better time to hike than on a sunny day.
But, why do you need to avoid the peril?

Well, let's say be more careful as opposed to avoiding. Perhaps that is a better way to say it.

There are so many acorns scattered along the path. Are there no squirrels in that forest? As far as I know, acorns are a favorite of theirs. Those small purple flowers really catch the eye; they are absolutely lovely.
