Snow Covered Vette

(Edited)

This is something you don’t see to often: A “Snow Covered Vette”. Usually up here in Canada, most people with collector sports cars tend to store their prized cars indoors. Most if not all. This one seems to have been forgotten! Maybe the owner’s have left for the winter and are in Mexico or something like that. A strange sight to see really. I feel sorry for that snowed in Vette. It is really out of place on this snow covered street. This one’s a C5 model, as far as I can tell. It was made from 1997 to 2004. Someday when I buy one, it will be a C5, C6 or maybe a C7. Which model would you recommend?

Camera: Huawei P40 Pro
Lens: Leica

I know you would get a C7, the latest 😊
I feel it's lonely and cold, covered in all that ice, but it all adds to the charm.

Cold for sure, and it didn’t like the snow much either!

In BW it looks like a different car.
But, yes, very unique when covered with snow.

Used to seeing these kind of cars all shiny and nice looking.

The red color of the Vette against the white background of the snow, the contrast is good for photography. Good shots.

I think to an extent I prefer the red colour car. It looks quite classy much more than the black one

These photos of this snow covered Corvette are beautiful. You also reminded me of Pirnce's song, little red Corvette

Yes, that song came to mind for me too!

These are cool shot's my friend, like them a lot. I suppose I'd go with a C7 but I'd rather get a Nissan Skyline GTR, haha.

Oh yeah, I’ll need to google that car. Probably gets better gas mileage.

There are submarines, and these are cars for moving under the snow))

Only in Canada Eh! Had a few of the C3's if I were to get back in the game I think pretty much any ZR1 would be my choice. Definitely like the new ones, they are so close to the Ferrari look and pretty much the same performance at a much lower cost.

Yes, a ZR1 would like pretty nice on my driveway! Thanks for stopping by @sokal.

It’s not the snow it’s the salt on the roads that causes the damage. Great photos
