Here we are, “Top of the World”, looking down at the trail to Rae glacier, what a feeling , what a view! This may go down as being my most adventurous hike to date. You see, the trail did at times turn into a bit of scramble. For someone like me, for my level of hiking, it was intimidating. Now that I have completed this hike and added another notch to the belt, it is very satisfying to reflect back on the adventure that it was. I am certainly going to return someday to give it another go. 100%.

@daveks When I walk in the mountains and it doesn't happen often but it happens all the same hahaha well I'm in awe of all this mass which has come out of the bowels of the earth and rises more or less high into the sky following the mountains . In your photos if you removed the trees or would have the impression of being on Mars... The photos are very pretty

What a beautiful spot! Too bad the glacier isn't a little bigger but it's still beautiful. The B&W's just work well with the landscape and the weather. I'm ready to get back out to the mountains again too!
