Transitional November

Late in the season, this is how low the snowmelt runoff gets. Just a trickle compared to Summer. Soon this will basically ice over itself when temperatures dip much lower. November is when these photos were taken. A transitional month in the Canadian Rockies. This is the month when we switch from “Summer” to “Winter” activities generally. I am more of a Summer activity person versus a Winter activity person, how about you? I assume most are probably into Summer activities more, but I could be wrong. Thanks for stopping by.

I wonder if it’s safe to drink. If it is I bet it would be so refreshing, but there might be a risk of hypothermia.

Pretty clean I'd bet, probably still use a filter though.

Personally, I prefer summer activities, even though they make me sweat a lot. In winter, I tend to feel lethargic, the cold feels like it pierces right to the bone. The images you share are always stunning. Among them all, the second one is the winner, the color combination is perfect.

Agreed, I prefer summer activities too. Although, I will also go out in the Winter and do what I can to enjoy myself!
