Trees, Rocks and Mountain Bumps

avatar
(Edited)

Ok back to the mountain stuff. Starting where we left off the day before yesterday. Here we are at the top of the “prairie view lookout” hike. Sort of a potpourri of images I took that afternoon. Trees, rocks, and mountain bumps. A great feeling to make it to the top, another notch on the hiking belt. How many more notches to go in the Canadian Rockies? Not including them long all day or multiple day hikes, probably about 50 or more to go. This is very exciting, where should I go next, any ideas? Of course this will all have to wait until at least June. Can’t do this kind of hike in March, unless you put on some snow shoes, which I won’t be doing anytime soon.

The mountain that looks beautiful and is green represents other mountains that stand majestically and give off the same color, namely sky blue.... Anyway, wow and very beautiful, bro @daveks👍👍

As nature does my thing well, this little fir tree found just what it needed to survive in the rock.

@daveks It is a great thrill to be at the "prairie lookout", as it is always an extraordinary job. Today I have a publication about drinking coffee with cinnamon, it would be interesting if you would value it and use this de-stressing drink in such a beautiful work of hiking that you always do. Best wishes.

Oh yes, I am also a big fan of cinnamon, especially in my tea.

I will recommend in a future publication, the tea drink with cinnamon, it is a millenary infusion. Thanks friend @daveks

The weathering of the rock in the second picture is pretty cool to me. Like a puzzle, was the rock lower at one point where a river could erode the veins in between or was it carved by ice?

Not sure if you have ventured to one yet, but an old mine site would be a cool subject. Those old miners were always leaving behind something.
