Valley View, Banff National Park, Alberta here. What you can’t see in these photos is the townsite of Banff, and the hustle bustle of all the tourists window shopping on Banff Avenue. Me, I’m not much of a window shopper type, and generally I do like to avoid the town itself for the most part. I’d much rather be out in nature hiking and picture taking, and leave the touristy stuff for others. How about you, more of a tourist or more of an anti-tourist like me? Photos taken last Summer.

I'm pretty much an "anti tourist." I like to get out into the local nature with my camera, to see what's there, in terms of flora and fauna.

And this is an excellent landscape to start the week! ;)... What a beautiful place!... The one in the first photo is a perfect format (16:9 I think) to see this!...
