Valley View
Here we are on the way back from our hike to Helen Lake, making our way back down the trail. What a view! It certainly would have been nice to have clear blue skies, but you can’t control the weather. Have to make do with the hand you are dealt. Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for tomorrows adventure (hint: it did, for the most part). The descent took about 2 hours or so, glad I brought my trekking poles with. I wish I would have discovered the benefits of using poles a decade ago. Better late than never.
