Walking around Nature

IMG_20230722_120601_Original.jpeg

Do you walk around Nature or does Nature walk around you? A few more captures here from my weekend Nature walk, out here on the flatter prairies, a little more than a few kilometres away from the Mountains. My knees appreciated this nearly zero elevation gain/loss excursion. No need for trekking poles on this one. Speaking of trekking poles, ever since purchasing poles a few years ago, it has changed for the better my hiking experience. If you don’t have trekking poles, go buy em, everyone should be using these!

I agree that trekking poles are a must when you hike hills. I started using them more than 20 years ago.
I have a pole with removable cap so that you can use it as a monopod for the camera!

Great shots, what a way to chill in the lake. The angles to taking the shots makes one even appreciate the mastery of the picture. It's totally beautiful Indeed. The wide angle ones are also amazing.

Trekking poles are pretty lightweight and thin aren't they? Do they have a rating for what they can handle? Thanks as always for sharing your lovely walks. Soooo beautiful!

Several different price points for poles. Not really an expert on it. I know some do get quite pricey, mine are middle of the road.

I would imagine so, yes. We have lovely mountains right where we stay with amazing walks. Maybe I can get me a set one day, as I do have pain in my left knee from long distance running years back. Thanks mate for the info.
