This old bridge was erected in and around 1908, and it is referred to as the train bridge or more officially as the CPR bridge (Canadian Pacific Railway). It spans the south Saskatchewan river. The age of the bridge does show and perhaps there are not too many more years left in it's lifespan. I love travelling around the Canadian Prairies and discovering all these old pieces of history!

I used to cross the other train bridge over by the new Circle Drive bridges when I was a teen. It was a lot of fun to do dumb things around there. The best was sitting directly underneath the beginning of the bridge, on the concrete pad. Wait for a train to come roaring over and try not to run away in terror! XD

We all did dumb things as kids. Someday I'll write a book about my adventures.
