Fake Love

We seemed happy together but it was all a facade,
Sometimes a deep cut could be made without a sharp blade.
With no one there to my aid,
Those promises we once made just within a while seemed to fade.
We were tied together in a relationship with a loose knot,
The bleeding she caused could never clot.

She's out of my brain,
But her presence, like blood still flows in my vein.
Not easy to erase her from my heart,
Her betrayal was like a dart aimed towards the heart.

Again and again recalling all those memories while lying down on the bed,
Thinking instead of carrying that fake smile I'd rather be dead.
All alone left to bemoan,
Regretting on that seed of relationship which I once sown.

This is a sad tale. Losing someone you think is your world. Trust broken and tears unending.

A very sad writing, usually when you trust and give your soul to someone and when they fail you it's the worst feeling in the world, there are only memories that make you happy but hurt you at the same time, but people come and go in this life, you just have to move forward while you can, thanks for sharing ♥

It's the loss of companionship that's the hardest, even when the relationship ship turns bad, we still hold on.

We still hold on just because we have built our world around the person and don't know how to live without the person.its best if we continue to expect the worse even when we are preparing for the best.

@davidbright When reading your writing, I felt accompanied in my own experience and the lessons I learned through that false love. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of valuing ourselves and seeking genuine relationships that nourish our being.

Excellent unique perspective, thanks for sharing... Regards

Thanks so much for this powerful feedback. I guess something we pass through in life are meant to happen so we would learn great lessons from them just as you learnt so powerful ones from your experience.
