Finding Strength in Adversity

In the depths of despair, when all hope seems lost,
And every door shuts, leaving you tempest-tossed,
Remember, my friend, that rejection is not defeat,
It's just a stepping stone to a victorious feat.

Though the road may be long, and the journey rough,
Let not your heart falter, stay resilient and tough,
For every setback is but a lesson learned,
And with every disappointment, a new fire burned.

In the midst of adversity, find your inner light,
Let it shine like the stars, so pure and bright,
And when you feel lost, and the way seems unclear,
Make sure to take a deep breath, and have no fear.

For as the old adage goes, every cloud has a silver lining,
And as sure as the sun rises, your soul will keep shining,
Through the trials and tribulations, keep your head up high,
For a heart full of hope will never die.

In the end of it all, it's not the destination that counts,
But the journey itself, and the lessons that mount,
