The Two Favourite People In My Life

We meet many people in our lives on daily basis, but only few has impacted, and made a difference in us. Our lives will never be complete without these people in them.

I do not have too many friends but those I have, I cherish them a lot and almost equally.

It's really difficult picking a second favorite person since the closest people in my life are all my favourites. However, I will try as much as possible to narrow down my choices.

Did you notice I said I find it difficult choosing a second favorite person?.... What about my first favorite person??….. There is absolutely no room for anyone to be in that position except my Mother. She is undoubtedly my most favorite person on planet earth....

If you are always following my status on whatsapp, you will testify to the fact that I celebrate her often just because of her impact in my life. She deserves more than my celebration because she has done for me what no man can ever do and for this I will forever be grateful and indebted to her.

My mother is the ideal example of a perfect human being. She is sensitive yet very bold. She is a strict teacher yet a loving mother. She has always stood by me in every situation, and so, she is my pillar of support.

My mother sacrificed her desires and dreams for my well-being yet, she never discouraged me from dreaming. She believed in me, in my dreams, and in my capabilities more than anything or anyone else.

She is my inspiration and I have never seen a woman so humble and confident. How can she not be my most favorite person? I don't only admire her as my mother, but I also love her for the person she is.


My second favorite person is my father. My dad is someone I respect so much. He is very religious, and so, he makes sure I don't sin against God nor deviate from the principles laid down in the Holy Scriptures.

He inspired me to be the man I am today and his advice have proven to be very useful in my journey through life. He taught me what life is all about and I will forever be grateful to him. His encouragements, made me stronger and his discipline, made me wiser.

My dad taught me to be patient, and never give up in any situation in life. He taught me how to fight for what I want in life, and how to be respectful. My dad is honest, truthful, straightforward, polite, humble, and outspoken.

Words would fail me in describing how great a man he is.... My dad is my hero.
