Hello Hive!

The ones you find in this post are the photos I took last July 2, during a race located in the area where I live in. The post is part of an initiative I renamed as Towards the Bikend: you can find more explanations in the first episodes CLICKING HERE and HERE.

The competition was reserved for the amateur categories and took place along and within the boundaries of the local industrial zone, a route that the organizers often use. I reached several points of the route on my bike and took a handful of photos thanks to my smartphone. I remained at the side of the road, sometimes near a roundabout.

At home, I chose the photos which I thought were the best ones, and I created a black&white cover for them. I retouched the exposures, the dark and light points, the contrasts, the vignetting. Below, you can find a list with all the final images.

Quelle che vedi in questo post sono le foto che ho scattato il 2 Luglio scorso, durante una competizione svoltasi nella zona in cui vivo. Il post fa parte di una rubrica che ho chiamato Towards the Bikend e di cui puoi trovare più spiegazioni nei primi episodi, CLICCANDO QUI e QUI.

La competizione era riservata alle categorie amatoriali e si svolgeva lungo e all'interno dei confini della zona industriale locale, un percorso spesso usato dagli organizzatori del posto per questo genere di competizioni. Ho raggiunto diverse zone del circuito in sella alla mia bici e ho scattato una manciata di foto grazie al mio smartphone. Sono rimasto a bordo strada, in alcuni casi vicino a una rotatoria.

A casa ho scelto le foto che reputavo migliori e ne ho creato una versione in bianco e nero. Ho ritoccato esposizioni, punti di luce e ombra, contrasti e ombreggiature. Sopra alla traduzione italiana puoi trovare una carrellata con tutte le immagini finali.
