Hello Hive!

The photos you find in this post are shots I captured with my smartphone a few days ago. I slightly retouched the photos after returning home, adapting the contrasts, saturations, and vignetting, in order to better enhance the various elements, all very simple.

The place is a town between the ones of Fosdinovo and Castelnuovo Magra. Its name is Gignago. It was my first time visiting the place, I reached it as usual on my mountain bike and stopped to have a look nearby. The small bell tower in rough stones that I have portrayed from several angles, and in the vicinity of which some paths winded on the surrounding hills. I even saw a sympathetic animal friend, but I will talk about it in a future post. On my way back to Caprignano, I came across a war memorial and an information sign which I followed the advice.

Le foto che trovi in questo post sono scatti che ho catturato con il mio smartphone qualche giorno fa. Ho leggermente ritoccato le foto dopo essere rientrato a casa, adattando i contrasti, le saturazioni e la vignettatura, in modo da valorizzare al meglio i vari elementi, tutti molto semplici.

Il luogo è un paese tra quelli di Fosdinovo e Castelnuovo Magra. Si chiama Gignago. Era la prima volta che visitavo il luogo, l'ho raggiunto come al solito in mountain bike e mi sono fermato a dare un'occhiata nelle vicinanze. Svettava un piccolo campanile in pietra grezza che ho ritratto da più angolazioni, e in prossimità del quale alcuni sentieri si snodavano sulle colline circostanti. Ho anche visto un simpatico amico animale, ma ne parlerò in un prossimo post. Sulla via del ritorno a Caprignano, mi sono imbattuto in un monumento ai caduti e in un cartello informativo di cui ho seguito il consiglio.
