Here comes the reality
Last week there was the chapter of darkness unfolded during my dental appointment, when the nurse gave me my basic health assessment, my blood pressure stoods at close to 200mmHg, when it was very dangerous and they do not allow me to continue with my dental treatment, instead they gave me medicine and was instructed to stay back at one of their waiting room, hopefully the medicine can tentatively relieve my BP.

And then, I also consulted one of the local medical outpatients, Dr.Aruna is one of my many preferred doctor as she's more willing to hear and accept holistic treatments. I was given painkiller and muscle relief medicine instead of blood pressure control pills. The reason is, first to relief my anxiety, try to sleep in. And so I did. We know this is NOT the solution, but a temporary fix. I took one pill each, and knocked out for the next 13 hours and my blood pressure came back to quite normal.

Quick throwback, I have ordered a blood pressure monitor equipment from Omron, I knew they're NOT the cheapest in the market, but this one seems to be more common, so I paid RM40+ and purchased it online(that's like $10) inclusive of shipping. How time has changed, I remember this kinda stuff used to be like a couple of hundred bux at the pharmacy, and now online shopping basically taken over every aspect of sales and marketing.

Please don't mind about the photos, I was just documenting it for a purchase review, and thought I don't wanna waste it, so I use it for this blog post to record my health journey. The Omron Mini has multiple functions including LED backlight, it also has voice spoken through the machine. And trust me, it sounded something like the 80s TV series robotic monotonous machine voice - YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE IS ... HIGH

I'm still exploring the machine as in how to turn the damn voice off. Basically hearing the robot sound already can put me to a stroke, I would like to avoid that. The machine also came with a pack of AAA batteries. By the look of the battery, they're some cheap knockoff which probably cost nothing to get one. Nevertheless, it's very considerate by the seller. Other than battery operation, this thing also can be plugged in as it came with a USB adapter.

After installing the batteries, I can actually see the battery bay can actually use some improvement. If they put in some guides, or canal the battery seats, that can help to fit the battery in place better. Anyway, everything went smoothly. Over the past few days, including many ups and downs in life (so as my blood pressure), I'm getting inconsistent readings. But I think I can tell from my feeling now. When I feel I am high, I went and measure, it is indeed high. When I don't feel anything abnormal, I went and measure and it will usually give me a slightly more normal really, perhaps in the 130s region. Hopefully my current diet change can help to make my BP stable and move it's way down to a better readings. Most importantly, I want to adapt to a healthier lifestyle.
Sending you an Ecency vote! 👍😊✨
Thank you very much on the curation.
Nice information give you my dear friend. I will also buy this equipment. This need for my mother.
I got it from Shopee for Avery affordable price. Less than $10 in exchange
I also bought one and used it for a while, but now it's broken and I think I'll buy a new one to use in the future. It's really necessary for us to use.❤️❤️❤️
Thank you @ahleap , you can always order from online shopping as it's not very expensive. I should have started it way earlier.
Actually, I can relate to that because during the pandemic, when I got vaccinated, my blood pressure even reached 180, even though my normal BP is 90 over 60.
