Prep for festive and other matters

Chinese new year a.k.a. the lunar new year is next week, and many of us in preparing for the festive season. Especially in this multi cultural country of Malaysia, one celebration involved multiplayer races, and I'm working over time, grinding through to number, preparing "bonus" for the client. In the end, it's their effort as a result I got paid. It's time to "give back" what they deserved.

I haven't brought in my breakfast due to overslept. Nope, I didn't play games, was just stuck with star trek and refused to stop episode after episode. The good old TNG is freakishly boring, but yet Diana Troy is so addictive 🤣 Settled my crave with various kind of junk I found at the pantry. Took a walk to Subway for lunch.

I should have fill up the coke so I get a bloated stomach. Unfortunately I didn't. By tea time, a client crashed into my office, invited me to the Indian shop and there goes my diet program. 4 pieces of dessert probably set me back 1200kcal 🤣

The girl got an assignment to bring mandarin oranges for the class. So I headed to the convenient store to get a box. It's rather affordable this year, a whole box for 15 bucks. that's like 3.5 dollars after conversion. Best part of it being, the staff opened up the box, picked up the rotten oranges and replace them with the good one with me. Pure gold!

Dinner is some leftover dishes from the family. I was late home due to rain, traffic got pretty bad. Had to rush through the food and send the boy for tuition class. Had a nice coffee and cake supper at McDonald's with the female tiger and that pretty much sum up the day. Tomorrow is a big day, I will tell you about it when I finishes with the top management.

Oreo is one of my daughter's favorite biscuits.
What do you call that green, purple and white food? It looks enticing and delicious.

We call it nyonya kuih, made of coconut milk extract. The colouring are different flavor from brown caramelized coconut sugar, green pandan leaf extract, and the purple from a type of flower which I unable to name it now.

Cannot have this kind of food at night 😂 it will make you sugar rush, unless you wanna stay up a little longer, but sure you'll get fat if you do this often at night
